Big Bear's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular & Events

Come attend the biggest 4th of July fireworks display in Southern California on Thursday July 4th.  The fireworks are shot off from a barge on the Lake directly off of Pine Knot Landing.  Fireworks begin between 8:45-9:15pm. Viewable from any of our public parks or the best spot, from a boat on the Lake. Make sure to bring a jacket or blanket because it can get cold. Free to attend.

A memorable Fourth of July party with Above the Boom at the top of Snow Summit. The adventure begins with a ride on our Scenic Sky Chair through the San Bernardino National Forest to the top of the mountain (elev. 8,200 feet) and continues with family-friendly entertainment and panoramic views of the Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular.


Annual Rotary Club Big Bear Lake Fourth of July BBQ

The Annual Rotary Club Big Bear Lake Fourth of July Lakefront Fireworks and Barbeque at the Marina Resort on Big Bear Blvd. Open seating as well as reserved seating and meals with DJ and kids’ games before the fireworks Start. Captain John’s Fawn Harbor & Marina is having a 4th of July Celebration, and you’re invited! Three days of summer fun on the lake, July 4th, 5th and 6th. Open daily 8am to 10pm. Don’t miss the best party on the lake with a barbecue, ice cream, craft beer, wine and spirits. Vendors will be on-site for food and craft beer. Rock out with local band The Full Deck plus a DJ spinning your favorite summertime tunes. Captain John’s Fawn Harbor Marina is one of the best locations lakeside to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Get there early on July 4th with your chairs to reserve your spot! Come join the party at Captain John’s with plenty of parking and plenty of fun! Easy to find on North Shore Drive in Fawnskin. Parking is $20. Take $10 off any kayak, canoe, stand-up paddle board or boat rental with proof of parking.

Come aboard the Miss Liberty Paddlewheel Tour Boat to watch the fireworks explode above the Lake. Cruse includes a non-alcoholic two drink tickets and light hors-d'oeuvres. Beer, wine, soft drinks and assorted snacks available for purchase in the cash only galley. Tickets are $80 per person. Dock departure at 8 pm and tour returns to dock upon completion of fireworks.

No one has a better viewing area than The Pines Lakefront. This year you have two choices for dinner and viewing. The Pines Garden Patio and The Pines Terrace, both buffets will be ready at 6 pm. Music by Fantasy and music feed from K-BHR radio for the fireworks. Children 10 and under are half price. Be sure to make reservations early! Buffet: $75-$95

Kick off the 4th of July holiday with a fun run at Meadow Park, a great place on the lake to reserve your spot for the evening fireworks!

A fun event for the entire family. Kids (and strollers!) welcomed. Choose from 3 distances - 5K, 10K, 15K. The inaugural 4th of July Fun Run supports Run Far, a non-profit organization providing educational scholarships to children of fallen service members due by PTSD. All participants will receive a custom event t-shirt and finisher medal. Fast, flat, scenic course. Register early and save!

Independence DayFair at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center

The Independence Day Fair features arts and crafts booths with unique and one-of-a-kind items. Vendors will be selling a large variety of items including wire-wrap jewelry, home & garden decor, candles, homemade jams, health products, toys and vintage clothing. Watch as crafters make their wares onsite. A sampling of Bear Valley Farmer’s Market will also available throughout the day. Little visitors will enjoy a variety of activities include bounce house, arts & crafts, face painting, contests, and a variety of tasty treats.

Big Bear Air Fair 2019at the Big Bear City Airport

This one-day only event is a longstanding tradition in the community. For more than thirty years, the airport has welcomed audiences of all ages to experience the thrill of aviation.   FREE for all to attend.   Activities Include:  Sky Divers - Sightseeing Tours - Warbirds – Classic Cars - Kids Attractions - Gifts and Souvenirs - Food Vendors, and more.  The whole family will enjoy vintage planes, classic cars and skydiving exhibitions. Also adding to the fun will be community group exhibits, current aircraft displays and a wide array of souvenir and food vendors. There will be attractions that are just for kids.
