The Big Bear Visitors Center is the #1 source for information for visitors to Big Bear Lake. Also a valuable resource for residents, we provide information about lodging, dining, recreation, and more. The Visitors Center also provides firsthand information during emergencies, special events, and during the holidays to make traveling to Big Bear a smooth and enjoyable process. Our Visitors Center is located in The Village on the corner of Pine Knot Ave and Big Bear Blvd.

Information provided by the Visitor Center staff is broad. You can get basic information on lodging, dining, and activities in Big Bear, but the true value you'll get are the insights from local staff members who call Big Bear home. The first hand recommendations and guidance you'll receive from our staff could be essential in determining the best hiking trail or picnic area for you and your family, or which route to take into or out of Big Bear. We also have a great opportunity to provide information on local weather and road conditions throughout the year.

What is available at the Visitor Center?

We're proud to provide access to FREE Wifi for all of our visitors. We also have public restrooms. Inside the Visitors Center you can pick up a copy of our official Big Bear Lake Magazine, brochures for local restaurants, lodging, and activities.

The Visitor Center also features interactive table maps and kiosks where you can search our website, create an itinerary, and more.

The Visitor Center also features a gift area for branded Big Bear Lake and Care For Big Bear merchandise. Shop Swag.

Does the Visitor Center sell Adventure Passes?

Yes we do! Adventure Passes are available in the Visitors Center for $5/day or $30/annual pass each purchased with cash or credit card. Day passes are good for the day you purchased them and there is no limit to the number of passes someone may purchase at one time.
