Visit Big Bear encourages members of the public to attend board meetings, held the fourth Thursday of each month. Schedules are subject to change. See Agendas and Minutes below.

Board Meetings

The Board of Directors meets monthly to discuss agenda items pertaining to VBB marketing, events, and operations. Topics are brought up from committee meetings if it is the desire of those committee members. Board meetings are open to all and public comment is welcome.

Committee Meetings

Visit Big Bear board members serve on various committees to vet event, operations, and marketing decisions before graduating them to the Board for further discussion. Committee meetings are open to all and public comment is welcome.

The Ralph M. Brown Act is an act of the California State Legislature passed in 1953 that guarantees the public's right to attend and participate in meetings of local legislative bodies. The rule now includes a website posting requirement for agendas.
