Honoring the Fallen
Visit Veteran's Park
Veterans Park is a memorial to our veterans situated lakeside with beautiful views. The park is a cooperative effort between the Big Bear Lake Rotary Club, the Veterans Alliance, First Mountain Bank and the City of Big Bear Lake. The Park includes a memorial, a bandstand, and benches where the public can sit, relax, and reflect. Veterans Park is located on the lake side intersection of Big Bear Boulevard and Knickerbocker Road.
Attend the Memorial Day Ceremony
The American Legion Post 584 Big Bear Lake, the City of Big Bear Lake, and Marine Corp League collaborate each year on the Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Park to honor our fallen heroes.
Join us during the ceremony May 25th at 11 AM. This event is free for all attendees.
Head to the American Legion after the ceremony for a celebration with free hamburgers, hot dogs, brats and fries - FREE FOR VETS AND ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY
