Twilight Safaris
Take a tour of the Zoo after hours with a focus on nocturnal animals. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies along the way. Happening September 28, October 5, and October 12. Spaces are limited, reserve your space at BigBearZoo.org.
Mystery Maze
The Big Bear Moose Lodge presents the Mystery Maze! It's the perfect activity for the whole family this Halloween. Find your way through darkness, mirrors, and more to escape to freedom! Starting October 11, the Mystery Maze is open Fridays and Saturdays from 5-9 PM with a special opening on Halloween from 5 PM - 9 PM. Tickets may be purchased at the door; Adults $5, 12 & under $3.
Treats & Trails
The Southern California Mountains Foundation is hosting their annual Treats & Trails event on the Rathbun Trail in Moonridge. Bring the kiddos, don your best Halloween costumes, an trick or treat from 12 PM - 2 PM on Oct. 26
Boo at The Zoo
The Big Bear Alpine Zoo hosts Boo at the Zoo. Bring your children dressed in costumes ready to trick-or-treat while getting to know the Zoo's amazing animals. Boo at the Zoo is included in the general admission price. Happening October 26 from from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Halloween in The Village
Everyone is invited to The Village on Halloween to trick-or-treat from store to store. A special dog costume contest will take place from 4 - 4:30 PM at the Copper Q. Happening October 31 from 5 PM - 7 PM.
Halloween Concert in The Village
The Spazmatics are back in Big Bear! Known as “The Ultimate 80s New Wave Tribute,” The Spazmatics come with all the awesome sounds, styles, and dance steps from the decade. Begins 6 PM in The Village.
Community Pumpkin Patch
Hosted by the Big Bear Lions Club, this event invites community members (especially kids!) to come out and enjoy Halloween fun with a bounce house and carnival games. Each child under 12 years will also receive a FREE pumpkin to take home. Happening Oct. 26 from 10 AM - 2 PM.
Ghoul Golf
Head to Bear Mountain Golf Course Driving Range for an exciting new event - Ghoul Golf! For $120, a party of 4 can enjoy an hour of golf with 125 glow balls and mat access. The Driving Range will be illuminated with glowing lights and you'll play with glowing balls for a unique experience.
