Halloween is around the corner and Big Bear sets the best scene to spend this spooky holiday.

There are plenty of fun activities and events for all ages to enjoy this frightfully-fun night, from haunted houses, zoo events and safe family friendly trick-or-treating. Here are a few of our favorites:

Halloween Escape Room in The Village

This Halloween (October 29th-November 2nd 2019) Mountain Room Escapes brings a limited edition Halloween Themed Escape Room!

You and your team come across an old Train Car while visiting Sleepy Forest Alpine Ski Lodge! Next thing you know you’re Trapped! You soon realize something isn’t quite right about this old train car… You entered the Train to The Underworld!!

Trick or Treat!

Everyone and their dog, yes, there is a dog costume contest, is invited to the Annual Halloween in The Village. Costumed kids go from shop to shop and booth to booth filling their bags with candies. Over 50 merchants welcome your little ghosts and goblins. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. The pet costume contest is at the Copper Q on Pine Knot Ave. in The Village. Halloween Ball at Santana and Mavericks

Now taking reservations call ahead for the best table. Join Sanatana and Mavericks for dinner and annual costume contest winners get great prizes. Come back Nov. 1 for Dia de los Muertos, in honor of passed loved ones. Santana&Mavericks is having a day of the dead dance party.Costume/Best day of the day face paint gets $100 Gift Certificate to Santana & Mavericks. Second place gets $50 Gift Certificate. Third place gets a surprise gift.
