Great News! Troutfest returns to Big Bear Lake! Eager anglers are invited to reel in the biggest catch for some great prizes.

Get ready for the ultimate Southern California fishing derby! The 20th annual Western Outdoor News (WON) Big Bear Lake Troutfest is back, offering anglers of all ages the chance to compete for tens of thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.

This premier family-friendly trout fishing tournament features dedicated divisions and trophies for Adult Male, Adult Female, and Kids (ages 14 and under). Whether you are a seasoned pro or fishing with the family, the Big Bear community is rolling out the red carpet for an unforgettable weekend on the water.

All official Troutfest activities, including registration and the final awards ceremony, will take place at the Big Bear Municipal Water District (BBMWD) / Big Bear Marina gravel parking lot.

To ensure an incredible weekend of fishing, the BBMWD will be stocking Big Bear Lake with thousands of pounds of trout right before the event.

Tournament Schedule & Event Details

Saturday, Sept 26th	Lines may be dropped 7 AM - 4 PM Weigh station open 12 PM - 4 PM at Big Bear Marina (40524 Lakeview Dr)	Anglers will not be permitted to weigh fish if joining the line after 4 PM. Anglers may weigh fish ONCE per day. Anglers MAY NOT continue to fish after weighing.
Sunday, Sept 27th	Lines may be dropped 7 AM - 2 PM Weigh station open 11 AM - 2 PM at Big Bear Marina	Anglers will not be permitted to weigh fish if joining the line after 2 PM. Anglers may weigh fish ONCE per day. Anglers MAY NOT continue to fish after weighing.

Entry Fees & Perking Packages

Adult Entry: $75
Junior Entry (Ages 14 & Under): $50

The first 600 anglers to register will receive an exclusive event goodie bag packed with premium gear from our official event sponsors.

Check-In

Friday Sept. 25th from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Big Bear Municipal Water District located at 40524 Lakeview Dr (909-866-5796)

Late sign-ups taken if space available at a $15 late fee.

Late check-in is Saturday Sept. 26th from 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM at the Big Bear Marina gravel parking lot. It is recommended to check-in Friday.
