Big Bear Lake Carp Round-Up

Saturday June 20 & Sunday June 21, 2020

Welcome to Big Bear Municipal Water District's Carp Round-Up of 2020! Take part in the reaping that helps control Big Bear Lake's carp population. Participate as an individual hunter or as a team of two. All hunters have the choice of fishing by rod & reel or bow & arrow. Choose to fish from shore or by boat.

All bowfishing teams will compete as a team of two and can choose to hunt along the shoreline or by boat. Rod fisherman will compete alone.

Registration

Participants can register by mailing in THIS FORM or by checking-in at the event Saturday, June 20 by 11 AM. You must check-in at the event even if you mail in your resgistration! Mail in registration must be received by June 5. Registration will be located at Big Bear Municipal Water District at 40524 Lakeview Drive. All hunters receive raffle tickets upon entry for a chances to win hunting & fishing prizes.

Check-In

Hunters may begin checking in on Saturday, June 20 at 5 AM. You must be checked-in no later than 11 AM. All hunters must check-in before they can begin catching for a prize.

Hunting Times

Hunters may take part in the reaping on Saturday from 7 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 7 AM to 2 PM. Weigh-ins begin at 11 AM on both days and at 4 PM on Saturday and 2 PM on Sunday.

Awards

Awards for biggest carp by weight, smallest carp by weight, and biggest catfish will be given for each day. Awards will begin Sunday, June 21 at around 3 PM. You must be present to receive your prize!

Prizes will be given for:
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place shoreline bowfishing teams
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place boat bowfishing teams
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place fishing only hunters
- Biggest Goldfish
- An optional 50/50 Biggest Carp Side Pool
- Biggest carp by weight
- Smallest carp by weight
- Biggest catfish

Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase as well as a 50/50 at $20 per entry. Read full 50/50 rules in tournament rules below!
