Chocolate-Themed Tour – A Real Holiday Treat!

Big Bear has a thing for chocolate! A Big Bear Bed & Breakfast Experience hosts the annual Big Bear Loves Chocolate tour, December 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Big Bear has a thing for chocolate! It is one of the most popular foods in the world, and the widely sought-after confection is celebrated in Big Bear for its lusciousness and delightful taste. A Big Bear Bed & Breakfast Experience, a collection of four local B&B's in Big Bear Valley, hosts the annual Big Bear Loves Chocolate event on December 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Chocolate has been associated with the holidays for decades, and it seamlessly goes hand in hand with the season. It brings a sense of cheer and warmth to those who indulge in what the Mayans once referred to as "the food of the gods."

All chocoholics, sweet tooths, and anyone who wants to indulge in the sugary treat is welcome to Big Bear for a chocolaty good time. Big Bear Loves Chocolate is a self-guided tour that gives guests and opportunity to sample different delectable chocolate treats at the Big Bear bed & breakfast establishments that includes Knickerbocker Mansion Country Inn, Eagles Nest Bed & Breakfast, Windy Point Inn and the Inn at Fawnskin. Two other locations that are listed on the Big Bear Loves Chocolate tour include The Copper Q (a food specialty store) and Sugar Pine Bake Shop (a bakery), which of course are a natural fit for a tour that is based on the culinary confection known as chocolate.

Each stop on the tour will offer a different way to coddle chocolate from appetizers and morsels to baked goods and dessert dishes. The chocolate-themed day is an exceptional tasty experience ad has become a great way to start the holiday season. In fact, it has become a holiday tradition for some folks. The variety of chocolate is guaranteed to suit just about anyone's sweet tooth, and put a smile on their faces.

Not only is it a great time to savor the tasty chocolate treats, but it also gives guests a chance to see the beautifully decorated interiors of Big Bear's B&B's. And because it is on the first weekend in December it is especially enlivening because the B&B's will have full Christmas and holiday–themed decorations up, which naturally adds to the flavor.
