Line Fire Updates
All Evacuation Warnings for the Big Bear Valley have been lifted.
The Big Bear Valley community would like to extend a huge thank you to the firefighters and emergency personnel for keeping our valley safe from the ongoing Line Fire. We are grateful that the fire never reached our valley and look forward to opening fully when the time is right.

- Apple Valley Conference Center, 14975 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley
Both shelters are fully equipped to provide overnight accommodations, meals, a space to rest, charge devices, and essential updates on the fire. Pets are welcome at the shelter as long as they are kept in crates. For those who cannot bring their animals in crates, the Devore Animal Shelter (see Animal Evacuation Centers in the next dropdown) is available to house and care for pets during the evacuation period.
Shelter staff are on hand to assist with the animals' needs and ensure their safety. The Red Cross has prepared the shelter with mass care and shelter trailers to accommodate those impacted by the wildfire. In addition, the San Bernardino Department of Behavioral Health has staff on-site to offer emotional support to evacuees, helping them cope with the stress and uncertainty of the situation. For more information or assistance, please call the American Red Cross at 858-309-1200 or visit their Facebook page.
