The Big Bear MX Grand Prix presented by O’NEAL happens August 19th - 23rd, 2026. This motocross event brings together the Swapmoto Race Series and the team at Big Bear Mountain Resort
Racers! Ready your engines, it's time for the MX Grand Prix. This motocross course is brimming with jumps, berms, and climbs taking advantage of the unique terrain of Bear Mountain Ski Resort. The MX Grand Prix will feature race classes for youngsters to 60+ and beginners to pro riders.

The Track
The Grand Prix Race Track will consist of a motocross section with jumps and berms including a finish line jump and overhead truss like SX.
Riders will tackle massive elevation gains while the unique terrain create a fun dirt-filled loop. Challenging and technical sections are a given with some single-track opportunities.
The track will average three miles and remain heavily maintained.
The Deck
The Deck at Bear Mountain Ski Resort offers spectators the ultimate viewing experience with food and beverages plus sponsors showcasing their products and demos.
All spectators will park offsite and be shuttled to the venue.

Where to park / Will I need a pass?
Yes, each vehicle will require a parking pass - parking will be available for spectators with passes at the Moonridge Lot.

Thursday - Alpine Slide
Show your facility wristband for the BBMXGP and get a special price of $40 for Unlimited Rides. Includes: Mineshaft Coaster, Soaring Eagle, Go-Carts, Mini Golf. Open until 7:00 PM.
Friday - Wyatt's Grill and Saloon Bench Racing Party
4:00 PM - 10:00 PM. All are invited to Wyatt's for food, drinks and gathering. No promo or special on pricing.
Saturday - Included with the value of a Facility Wristband
$25 per person until Aug 1 when it goes up to $30 and gives event access for all 4 days of BBMXGP) Not only does it allow lift access to the BC Goggles viewing area, but includes a live show from the band "THOSE GUYS" after the Pro race.
Band show is from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. All the Food and Beverage outlets at Bear Mountain will be serving for this event.
What is the Facility Wristband value?
$25 until Aug 1 (goes to $30) Includes access to event for all days Aug 19th - 23rd. Over 25 vendors on site for rider support selling event merch and other items.
Event merch sold out early last year so get yours quick. Saturday only Chair Lift 5 will be running people up the mountain to see more of the course than ever before.
Racers will be riding the course under your feet and at the top there is a viewing area with shade, hay bales for seating, food and beverage, bathrooms and vendors.
Spectators will also be able to view from in the woods sections of "Fouts Forest" to watch riders navigate the technical sections.
Saturday after the pro race your Facility Wristband also gives you access to the live band "Those Guys" performing on stage from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
