This year’s Drone Show Spectacular promises to be our most awe-inspiring yet. As the sun dips behind the ridgeline, hundreds of brilliant drones will paint the night sky with choreographed patterns and glowing colors—reflecting over the lake in a breathtaking display that can only happen here. We’ve hosted this show for several years, but 2025 is expected to be nothing short of phenomenal.
Spend your days hiking alpine trails, paddling across crystal-clear waters, or enjoying local flavors in The Village. As night falls, gather with friends and family along the shoreline, let the cool evening breeze wrap around you, and watch Big Bear’s summer season end in pure mountain magic.

Big Bear Rotary Labor Day Weekend Boat Parade of Lights

Take in the spectacular Boat Parade of Lights hosted by the Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake. The parade will begin from Garstin Island and follow the shoreline to the north shore east boat ramp.
The parade is FREE for spectators, check out the Parade Map and find your preferred viewing point!

Everyone is invited to see the Labor Day Drone Show hosted by Visit Big Bear! Launching from Pineknot Marina, the show will be visible from Veterans' Park, The Village and nearby locations.
Music in the Mountains
July 5th, 2025 - Aug 30th, 2025. Big Bear Discovery Center, 40971 North Shore Dr. 5:30 PM - 9 PM.
Take a seat under the stars at the Big Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater for the final concert in the Music in the Mountains series featuring Petty Party, a tribute to Tom Petty, and Gypsy Dream, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac.
Labor Day Weekend Glow Golf at Bear Mountain Golf Course

Hit a round of 9 after dark during Glow Golf - an extravaganza of after hours fun with dinner and drinks, a glowing golf course, and glow in the dark golf balls. Event begins at 7PM.
Cool Run in the Mountain

See the 13th Annual Cool Run in the Mountains Car Show featuring 100+ unique and classic cars, vendors, and live entertainment. Presented by Rodriders of Big Bear, the event raises funds for local charities including Doves and Animal Rescue programs. Attendance free to spectators!
