Big Bear Lake Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Village
Join the community as it kicks off the holiday season with music, dancing, singing, the lighting of the Village Christmas Tree - and of course - Santa Claus!
Schedule of Events
- 4:30 PM: Big Bear Comedy Fest's Jason Love opens the ceremony
- 4:45 PM: The Mountain Marvels "Carnegie Kids" put a fun spin on Christmas classics
- 5:00 PM: Moonridge School of Dance performs songs from The Nutcracker Suite
- 5:15 PM: The Mountain Marvelettes sing festive favorites
- 5:50 PM: Santa Claus and City Council present the Tree Lighting
- 6:00 PM: A Capella group Jingle 5 sings Christmas hits
- 7:00 PM: Ceremony concludes
Carolers & Santa Claus' House
During the evening, keep an eye out for classic Christmas carolers donning Victorian-era costume and belting out holiday hits. They'll be roaming The Village from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
After the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Santa and Mrs. Claus will take residence in Santa’s House - right at Christmas Tree Corner - until 9:30 PM. Say 'Hi!' and snap a pic!
