Spartan Trifecta Weekend
Scheduled for May 20-21, 2023
Every Spartan races for a different reason. For some it means competing with other racers, for others it’s to achieve a personal goal, and for some it's a way to enjoy time with friends. Regardless of your motivation, there's a race for you. This event is a Trifecta Weekend, a chance to complete the Sprint, Super & Beast in one weekend. Plus you'll qualify for the 2023 Trifecta World Championship in Sparta, Greece!
Sprint Race
The Spartan Sprint is the shortest course at a 5K distance with 20 obstacles. But, don't be fooled, this event is designed to max out Spartans with a 1732 foot elevation gain at and above 7000 feet in altitude. Steep, technical climbs will push you to see what you're made of. The Sprint is the perfect gateway into the world of Spartan and is a Spartan Trifecta eligible event. See you at the starting line!
Kids Race
Where are our Spartan Kids at? Kids ages 4-13 years are invited to experience the thrill of the race with their own version of Spartan. Age depending, kids can take on a 1/2 mile, 1 mile, or 2 mile obstacle course. Spartan Kids is about feeling accomplished and having fun. Your athlete run, jump, and crush their way through obstacles to victory at the finish line. Each Kids Race registration includes two complimentary Spectator passes per family.
Special Spartans
This Inclusive Heat takes place on our ½ Mile Kids Course and is designed for Spartans who may have an intellectual and/or physical impairment. Spartan ensures a fun, safe and engaging experience while accommodating any sensory impairments.
Beast Race
The Spartan Beast calls on you to unleash your inner beast to tackle this 21K course sitting at roughly 7000 feet with 30 high intensity obstacles between you and the finish line. You'll put not only your physical strength and endurance to the test, but your mental game as well. The Spartan Beast will test everything you’re made of so show the world what you got Spartan! A Roo!
Super Race
The Spartan Super offers the ideal blend of endurance and strength. Challenging you with 25 obstacles along a 10K route, the Super event spares no one. Rugged terrain paired with a high-altitude setting will force you to prove to yourself that you've got what it takes to conquer this trek. The Super Race is developed as the second race in the Spartan Trifecta.
Spartan 10K Trail Race
Not an obstacle climber? Join the Spartan 10K Trail Race on May 21, 2023. Big Bear is a legendary mountain resort in Southern California, and has long been a favorite training ground for some of the country’s top runners. You’ll be following in their footsteps as you explore the picturesque trails winding through a high-altitude pine forest with technical climbs and descents.
