2020 Polar Plunge

Freezin' for a Reason

A team runs into the icy waters at the Polar Plunge

Take the Polar Plunge and run, walk, or dance into the chilly waters of Big Bear Lake on March 7, 2020 to raise funds for Special Olympics Inland Empire! Each year, the Polar Plunge welcomes close to 5,000 attendees and cheers on nearly 800 plungers in the coolest event of the winter season!

Register to participate as a 'plunger' or a 'chicken' for a minimum donation of $50. Plungers will brave the icy cold water while the 'chickens' provide moral support from the warm, dry land. Register as an individual or as a team and earn incentives with additional funds raised. All donations go to support Special Olympics Inland Empire programs in your community.
