Kodiak 100 Ultra Marathon
Event has been cancelled
The 8th Annual Kodiak Ultra Marathon is ready to test what you're made of at 7,000 feet in Big Bear Lake, part of the beautiful and rugged San Bernardino National Forest. The 2020 race will again take runners clockwise around the lake with nearly 17,000 feet of vertical climbing through steep, technical terrain that offers some the best views and scenery you'll ever race in.
Volunteers and crew members will see to it that you have every opportunity to succeed with aid stations along the way. Proceeds from the Kodiak benefit the San Bernardino Search & Rescue, Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation, Mountain Top Radio Association, and the Big Bear Middle School Interact Club.

50 Mile - This challenging course will start out on the North Shore with views of the alpine forest and desert in the distance. The real test will come in the second half where runners will summit Sugarloaf Peak at nearly 10,000', then descend Radford Road, then climb Seven Oaks before cruising down Knickerbocker to the finish.
50K - The 50K will start at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. Reaching the summit is the first challenge. Runners will then descend Radford Road with stunning views of the valley floor and San Gorgonio in the distance. The final test will be a climb up Seven Oaks before cruising down Knickerbocker to the finish in The Village.
Custom awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Men and Women in the Elite division. Custom belt buckles will be awarded to all 100 Mile finishers and medals for all 50 Mile & 50K finishers.
