Featuring: CHICAGO BLUES GUITAR SHOOTOUT! RONNIE BAKER BROOKS, LURRIE BELL, LARRY MCCRAY PLUS MARIA MULDAUER and her Red Hot Bluesiana Bandand BROTHER YUSEF. Headlining the concert will be the Chicago Blues Guitar Shootout withRonnie Baker Brooks, Lurrie Bell and Larry McCray. Three of the hottest young guitarists carrying on the Chicago Blues tradition. Maria Muldaur and her Red Hot Bluesiana Band. Maria has been making great Blues and Folk music since her Greenwich Village Days and her “Midnight at the Oasis” heyday and recently received her 6th Grammy nomination in 2010. Brother Yusef – A master solo guitarist, Yusef forges new ground with self-penned songs he describes as organic deep-fried fattback blues.
Tickets: $30 in advance; $35 day of event at the door
Concert Starts: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Gates Open: 1 p.m.
Parking on the grounds is $3/ vehicle.
Beach chairs and blankets are welcome for lawn festival-style seating, no coolers please (a fine selection of food and beverage will be available on site).
