Snow Summit Bike Park

The Snow Summit Bike Park is open for the season - meaning it's the perfect time to get active and feel the breeze as you pedal on!

For those looking to enjoy that elegant mountain view - why not take lift on the scenic sky chair for a mile long ride up to the top of snow summit.

Fishin' For 50K

Who doesn't like fishing - not to mention a chance to catch a tagged trout worth $10k. It's finally time to get fishing during the annual Fishin' For 50K trout tournament this June 7th through 8th!

Registration begins on the 6th from 12 pm to 10 pm at the Big Bear Visitor Center, you won't want to miss it!

With National Trails Day coming up, it's the perfect time to celebrate the grand opening of the new Castle Rock parking lot on June 7th!

Holcomb Valley Trail Run

The Holcomb Valley Trail Run is here! Choose between three different length trail runs starting from 33, 14, or 7 miles this June 14th!

Village Theaters & Trail Running Film Festival

This is a great chance to hear stories from on the trails - this also gives you a chance to sign up for 2 of the biggest running events here in Big Bear: The Highlander and Holcomb Valley Trail Run.

From special screenings to the newest releases to re-screenings of classic movies - Village Theaters is the place to go. Be sure to grab some popcorn and snacks and enjoy a movie or maybe two!

Squatch's Previous Talk

Countin' Carp

In replacement of the Carp Tournament, the new Countin' Carp Tournament is taking place all summer long starting this May 15th! Join us in keeping our lake pristine and healthy by lowering the population of invasive carp in our wonderful lake!

There is no registration - bring your carp to the Big Bear Municiple Water District building on Lakeview drive any day of the week from 10 AM to 6 PM to start to your season tally.


Bear Mountain Golf Course

Get a birdie or even a hole in one this May 9th at the Bear Mountain Golf Course! Open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, BBMR is a great choice for those of all skill levels with 9 holes and 35-par course you're sure to have a blast!


Spartan Trifecta

Get your inner spartan on this May 17th at Snow Summit! Choose from 3 different races ranging from the 5K Sprint, 10K Super, or even the toughest trial the 21K Beast! Each race will put your skills and bodily endurance to the test with their many obstacles and high elevation.
