An immersive Valentine’s night of vintage burlesque, live blues, seductive glamour, and playful audience interaction.

Slip into something irresistible and join us for Velvet Valentine, a sultry, vintage-inspired Valentine’s night where glamour, temptation, and live music collide.

Set inside Sessions Retreat & Hotel at the Flatlander, this immersive burlesque experience invites you into a world of velvet, lace, candlelight, and forbidden romance. Expect captivating burlesque performances that blur the line between audience and art — you may find yourself flirted with, serenaded, or momentarily swept into the fantasy.

Following the burlesque show, keep the night alive with live blues, rock & soul from local Big Bear favorites Black Book, plus a full bar featuring Valentine-themed cocktails and all the classics.

Think velvet, lace, satin, suspenders, red lips, silk dresses, tailored suits, fedoras, pearls, heels, and Old Hollywood romance.

Advance reservations are recommended. Door pricing will be higher and seating is limited.

Seating Information

VIP Seating

Includes priority seating, a champagne toast, and enhanced interaction with our performers.

Floor Seating

Positioned directly in front of the stage for an up-close experience. Guests should be comfortable being close to the action.

Couch Seating

Couch seating near the bar faces the fireplace, so guests should be comfortable turning around to enjoy the show. The two seats located diagonally between the two couches along the room’s perimeter offers a fun and festive sleigh-style seating option.

Bar Seating

Offers a more casual viewing experience and some seats may have limited visibility.

Standing Cocktail Tables

Standing tickets include access to designated cocktail tables.

Running late after Valentine’s dinner but still want to enjoy the night?

Join us at 10 PM for live music with local band Black Book! If you missed the burlesque show, you can still come soak in the atmosphere, grab a cocktail, and enjoy the blues, rock, and soul set for just $10 at the door.
