Big Bear Lake Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

Join the Annual Big Bear Turkey Trot this Thanksgiving Day hosted by Open Air Big Bear.

Join the Big Bear Turkey Trot and kick off the holiday with a 3 mile fun run (or walk)! This is a family friendly event where all ages are welcome.

Start/Finish at Dank Donuts located at 42612 Moonridge Rd.

  • 8:00 AM - Registration & Check-In Opens
  • 9:25 AM - Holiday Warmup Yoga with Colin Schour
  • 9:30 AM - 3 Mile Turkey Trot
  • 10:00 AM - Danksgiving Party with live music & adult beverages
  • 10:30 AM - Awards & Costume Contest

Event Details

Early Bird Pricing

3 Mile Race

  • Adults - $43.40
  • Youth (under 18 years old) - $25

Ticket prices will increase after November 25th, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST. Locals receive a $5 discount with ID at packet pickup.

Children under age 5 participate for FREE, but parents or guardians must sign a waiver. Only paid entries receive a shirt, medal, bib, prizes, etc.

Wednesday, Nov 26 (4–7 PM): The Yellow Post, 546 Pine Knot Blvd

Thursday, November 27 at the Event site, from 8AM-9AM. Dank Donuts, 42126 Moonridge Rd, Big Bear Lake, CA.

  • Top 3 Male runners overall in the 3, 6 and 9 mile events
  • Top 3 Female runners overall in the 3, 6 and 9 mile events
  • Top 3 Male runners in each age group for the 3, 6 and 9 mile events
  • Top 3 Female runners in each age group for the 3, 6 and 9 mile events
