Perseid Meteor Shower & Star Party

The Big Bear Valley Astronomical Society will be holding their Star Party on the evening of August 9 at Ski Beach Park at dusk - approximately 8:30 PM.

This is a free event for the public to enjoy with astronomers on hand to operate telescopes where attendees can freely mingle and view different astronomical objects. Vendors will be set up as well representing our community.

This event will coincide with the Perseids meteor shower!
