Green Thumbs - Forest Restoration Volunteers
Pre-registration is required so we can safely plan for enough staff and tools.
The 2026 Green Thumbs Restoration Volunteer Season is here, and we’re inviting you to help care for your public lands in the San Bernardino National Forest.
Join us on select Saturdays from 9AM–3PM to make a direct impact through hands-on conservation work. Volunteers will collect native seed, plant native trees and plants, support our Forest Service nurseries, weed and water restoration sites, and help clean up trash and graffiti. Every project plays a role in restoring habitat, strengthening forest resilience, and protecting the landscapes we all love.
2026 Volunteer Dates:

May 2
May 16
June 3–5 (National Forest Week)
