Green Sports Day

Green Sports Day an annual celebration held every October 6 that unites teams, leagues, venues, athletes, and fans to promote environmental stewardship and climate action through sports. In partnership with Kodiak 100 Ultra Marathons by UTMB, Care for Big Bear is supporting a community trash-clean-up event.

Volunteers will cross the starting line at Ski Beach Park, move to Meadow Park and then work their way down to Veterans Park and Rotary Park before concluding at the Big Bear Lake Visitor Center to dump their "loot" and claim a Thank You Gift.
