Green Sports Day Community Clean-Up

Green Sports Day an annual celebration held every October 6 that unites teams, leagues, venues, athletes, and fans to promote environmental stewardship and climate action through sports. In partnership with Kodiak 100 Ultra Marathons by UTMB, Care for Big Bear is supporting a community trash-clean-up event.

Volunteers will cross the starting line at Ski Beach Park, move to Meadow Park and then work their way down to Veterans Park and Rotary Park before concluding at the Big Bear Lake Visitor Center to dump their "loot" and claim a Thank You Gift.

Details:

• 4:45 PM meet at Ski Beach Park - 41216 Park Ave. Waivers to be signed and clean-up supplies distributed
• 5 PM clean-up kick-off!
• Volunteers will clean Ski Beach Park before moving to Meadow Park, Veterans Park and Rotary Park
• Volunteers will drop their trash bags at the Big Bear Lake Visitor Center - 40824 Big Bear Blvd and pick up a special Thank You gift at the front desk
