Colorado Lodge

The Colorado Lodge is a super-galactic, psychedelic and one-of-a-kind mountain retreat. It was conceived by a riotous crew of Echo Park architects and builders, all united by their love for raw plywood and the spirit of the mountains. Our renovated Nordic-style cabins feature a striking design, including Baltic Birch-lined walls, custom cabinetry, and angular tile with windows that bring natural light and nature inside giving you a chance to relax, reset and disconnect from everyday busy life.

Set on two beautiful acres in the heart of Big Bear Lake, our six spread-out cabins are nestled among towering pine trees. You'll enjoy the feeling of being deep in the forest, while still being within easy walking distance of the Village shops, the lake, and just a few blocks from Snow Summit. This is your base for exploring all of Big Bear's best local attractions.

Our spacious property features six truly unique cabins, each thoughtfully spread out with its own floor plan and distinct amenities. Ranging from cozy studios to one-bedroom and two-plus bedroom layouts, our largest cabins can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. Every cabin includes a semi to full kitchen, a comfortable bed, bath robes, and luxurious soaps. You'll also find a mix of private and community offerings, including inviting hot tubs, fire pit lounge areas, and hammocks (features vary by cabin*). Select cabins offer the luxury of enclosed private yards & private hot tubs. Outside, enjoy your front and/or back porch-perfectly set up for outdoor seating, stargazing, reading, lounging, barbecues, or even pizza from one of our pizza ovens (features vary by cabin*). On-site, a large, beautiful deck is nestled among tall, towering trees at the back of the property, providing a serene space for reading, creating, business meetings, exercise, stretching, or meditation. All guests have access to our community hot tub, fire pit area, and additional picnic tables. We are also very pet friendly! We welcome up to two pets per cabin with no pet deposit, just a one-time fee.

Cabin 6 is one of our most popular choices, featuring an enclosed, highly fenced private yard that is perfect for guests with pets and backyard fun. Adding to the luxury, it also includes its own private hot tub and fire pit lounge area.

Our most frequently requested accommodation is Cabin 4, which offers the largest interior spaces. Guests love its cozy fireplace and the master bathroom's spa-like experience, complete with an oversized soaking tub and a floor-to-ceiling view of the surrounding nature. A private back deck with its own hot tub completes this premier experience. Your furry companions are welcome in all of our cabins!
