This Memorial Day Weekend bring the family out to enjoy the Big Bear Lake Grill & Chill BBQ festival. Grill-masters from across the nation will hash it out over the barbeque for a KCBS State Championship and People's Choice Award. Attendees can sample some of the best BBQ and craft beers around while enjoying live music, shopping, kids activities and more!
Festival Details
Dates: Sat & Sun, May 27 & 28, 2023
Location: 630 Bartlett Road in The Village at Big Bear Lake
Hours: 10 AM – 5 PM both days
Tickets: Pre-purchase food & drink tickets or purchase at the event.
General Admission ticket purchasers receive a ticket book with 10 (ten) tickets to be redeemed for craft beer and BBQ samplings. Includes 5 oz. sample glass.
VIP Single Day ticket purchasers receive 15.5 oz. mug, with a 5 oz. fill line, a day pass for unlimited pours from breweries, and meal ticket to one BBQ team.
BBQ Festival & Competition
The Grill & Chill puts grill-masters to the test to compete for a KCBS championship and People's Choice Award. Grill teams will sizzle their way to victory in Brisket, Pork Butt, Pork Ribs and Chicken categories. Judges will award the championship and you will vote for the People's Choice winner! The People’s Choice contest is held both Saturday and Sunday.

Beer Festival
A BBQ just isn't a BBQ without a beer in hand. The Big Bear Lake Grill & Chill includes a two-day beer tasting festival in tandem with the BBQ festival. Over 40 breweries are lined up to give attendees a sample pour of their craft beers, special brews, and brand favorites. So, raise a sampler and sip to Memorial Day Weekend and all the servicemen and women who defend us everyday. Breweries include:

- Coronado Brewing Company
Kids Zone
Grill & Chill is always a family friendly event, so bring out the kids to enjoy a range of activities including:
- Bounce Houses
- Balloon Animals
- Climbing Wall
- Face Painting
Kids' activities wrist bands are $10 at any ticket booth.
