2nd Annual Maifest at Wyatt’s at the Big Bear Convention Center

 Maifest is a traditional celebration of Spring in Germany and often    referred to as “Oktoberfest’s little sister.”  As in Germany, Big Bear’s    Maifest offers many of the same elements as our beloved Oktoberfest    guests have enjoyed through the years... German music, beer, cuisine,    contests, games and fun along with a May Pole, special MaiBock Beer,  and a Maibowle.  Dust off your dirndl and lederhosen!

We will be celebrating Spring in the mountains German Style Doors open at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 and the fun continues through 11:00 pm.  Sunday May 26th from 1:00 pm until 11:00pm

Special performance by Die Gemütlichen Schühlplattler Dancers.Come dressed in traditional German attire and receive a special gift compliments of Warsteiner beer!

Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors (62+), and Free for children 12 and under. To pre-purchase tickets online or for general information, log on to

Local Residents Get Free Admission to Big Bear Lake Maifest on Sunday The offer for free admission to the Sunday, May 26 Maifest event is also extended to second homeowners in Big Bear Valley. All Big Bear second homeowners must show a current utility bill at the entrance gate to receive free admission.
