Our spacious cabin accommodates 8-12 comfortably. Perfect for families to getaway and enjoy one of Moonridge's few contemporary-style, clutter-free homes featuring soaring windows with spectacular views of the slopes, hi-speed wifi, hot tub, gorgeous fireplace, pool table, games, movies, fully stocked kitchen, and 8 cozy beds plus 4 pull-outs. Just STEPS to Bear Mountain Resort and a 5-7 minute drive to the Village or Big Bear Lake.

Backing the forest means fewer neighbors and tremendous views of the mountains and slopes. Everyone can gather in our great room, with its +20' windows and gas fireplace, they can lounge on the deck, or play in the loft, and still enjoy the same great views. Things to consider when comparing our home to other Big Bear rentals:

LOCATION: Walk out our back door and step into the national forest. No driving is required for Bear Mountain skiing, boarding, sledding, hiking, or cross country mountain biking! No need to load up your car for daily outings; once you check in to our home, unpack, open a bottle of wine, and know that you have arrived!

PRIVACY: Feel like you are the only people for miles as you gaze out our +20' high windows, sit on the back deck, or soak in the hot tub. With only 2 part time residents on either side, the pine trees are often your only audience. Our hot tub location does NOT sit out in the open, so you won't feel like fish in a fish bowl!

LIVING SPACE: Enjoy plenty of room in our main living area to share a meal and socialize with your family & friends, but also have the option to retreat to your own space within our 3,000 square foot, well-insulated home. Many rentals boast they can sleep 12, but how many in your party must share a bedroom? If you are planning a getaway for a dozen, you won't have to be in one room together ALL the time. Few homes in Big Bear have 6 bedrooms and 4 separate living/play spaces like ours!

LUXURY: Appreciate the level of quality throughout. Built in 2007, there are many new-build features. High-speed internet, tankless water heaters for on demand hot water, dual pane windows, Trex decking, and much more. Since we live in our home at least 1 weekend a month, we are passionate about improving, fixing, and fine-tuning! Rather than a pure rental income property with little owner interaction, choose our home for an unparalleled experience.

ACCESS: An easy drive from Moonridge Road, you won't need to worry about winding, icy roads or a steep driveway to access our home. Park on the flat driveway or inside our attached 2 car garage, and stay protected from the winter weather.
