In Big Bear, our greatest gift is the natural environment. As locals and visitors, we share a responsibility to be stewards for these beautiful surroundings. There's always a way to leave a positive impact on the environment, whether you're clearing away litter, sticking to marked trails, observing wildlife from afar or joining in volunteer opportunities in the valley.

Fishin' for $50K Clean-Up Giveaway!

Care for Big Bear is partnering with Fishin' for $50K on a special giveaway for our valued volunteers! When you participate in three (3) Climate & Cocktails events, you earn a FREE entry to the tournament on May 30 - 31, 2026. (while supplies last)

If you already volunteered in the January and/or February Climate & Cocktails events, those may count towards your 3 days.

Climate & Cocktails RSVP

Please complete the following RSVP form per group/family attending the Climate & Cocktails event for...

Saturday, March 21, 2026

Clean-Up: 1 PM - 3 PM, location TBD, location to be posted 1 week prior to event date
Cocktail Hour: 3:30 PM - 5 PM at Moonridge Coffee Company

Care for Big Bear will cover the cost for one (1) beverage per Volunteer who:

  1. Joins the Climate & Cocktails clean-up segment from 1 PM - 3 PM.
  2. Signs a Liability Waiver upon arrival.
  3. All minor Volunteers must be accompanied by an adult.
  4. A valid ID proving 21+ age must be presented to the host restaurant for any alcoholic beverages ordered.
  5. Photography and video will be present.

Care for Big Bear will cover first drink costs from 3:30 PM - 5 PM at the host restaurant.
