Big Bear Polar Plunge
March 16, 2024
Plunge into the chilly waters of Big Bear Lake to raise funds for the Special Olympics of Inland Empire. Plungers have the opportunity to earn incentives, party with friends, and be freezin' for a reason: to help support Special Olympics programs and athletes.
Big Bear Spartan Trifecta Weekend
May 18-19, 2024
Big Bear Spartan Race challenges every racer to strive to be their best. Whether you're racing with the top elite athletes, pushing your own limits, or enjoying a great event with friends, there's a race for you. Spartan also features kids and trail running races.
Memorial Day Weekend Grill & Chill
May 25-26, 2024
Grill & Chill makes Big Bear Lake a must visit over Memorial Weekend! This BBQ & Beer Festival is FREE to attend. Come sample the best BBQ and craft beers in town.

Run or cruise along this scenic 5K course through beautiful Big Bear neighborhoods. This challenging task is a great way to honor our fallen military heroes.
Andrew Nettlebeck Memorial Run
June 1, 2024
This 5K trail run/hike through the Maple Hill Trails System is in honor of Big Bear High School's Cross Country Coach Andrew Nettlebeck who tragically passed in 2022 from brain cancer. The community's heartbreak has been channeled into a commitment to honoring what he loved best: running. Money raised from event registration will be donated to the scholarship fund in Andrew's name.

Holcomb Valley Trail Run

Run through the beautiful Holcomb Valley scenery just outside the Big Bear Valley. This trail running event is a fundraiser for the local volunteer search and rescue organization who staffs the event aid stations, safety operations, communication program, and more.

The Grizzly 100 & MTB Gran Fondo mixes a National Ultra Endurance Race series event with a friendly mountain bike ride experience for all ability levels. All tracks will be set up with first aid stations and rider support provided by the Big Bear Valley Race Association.
