Taste of Bear Catering has several celebrity credits, including “Medieval Times” dinner and theatre, on call-back for CBS, several episodes of filming for soap opera “Bold & The Beautiful”, being featured in a variety of commercials, catalog and tabloid layouts, and listed in credits of student films including “Asking for It”. They catered to film-crew for “Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves” filmed in the Big Bear Valley and screened at the 2006 Big Bear Lake International Film Festival.

Some of the many engagements that Taste of Bear has served include events for the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce, Moonridge Animal Park, the Big Bear Fire Departments, local businesses, open houses, service clubs as well as many community functions. The Smith’s are members of the Big Bear Lions Club.
Variety
Whether it’s the chef’s gourmet, beef tri-tip dinner or a breakfast of grandma’s old-fashioned biscuits with sausage gravy; the hot meal will be freshly prepared and served gracefully. Rather than have a standard selection of meals, The Bears encourage the clientele to create their own favorite menus with perhaps some suggestions from the chefs.
