Hwy. 18 (east entrance) via I-15 through Victorville / Lucerne Valley
From North Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley Areas:
Take the 210 East or Interstate 10 East to Interstate 15 North. Follow
the 15 North over the Cajon Pass towards Victorville and take Exit 153A (D
Street/CA-18). Merge onto D Street/CA-18. Turn right (East) at Hwy. 18 through
Lucerne Valley. In Lucerne Valley, Hwy. 18 bears to the right (south) toward
the mountains. Follow Hwy. 18 around the north end (North Shore Dr.) to
Stanfield Cutoff, turn left and proceed over the bridge. At the stoplight turn
right onto Big Bear Blvd.
From the High Desert
Communities:
From Bear Valley Road take Hwy. 18 East to Lucerne Valley. Hwy. 18 bears right
(south) in Lucerne Valley and heads toward the mountains. Follow above
directions.
From the Las Vegas Area:
Take the Interstate 15 South, to Hwy. 247 South (through Barstow). Take Hwy.
247 to Lucerne Valley. After two stop signs turn left onto Hwy. 18 toward the
mountains. Follow above directions.
Hwy. 18 via the I-10/ Hwy. 62/ Hwy. 247 through Yucca Valley
From The Palm Springs Area:
Take Interstate 10 West, Exit 117 to merge onto CA-62 East/Twentynine Palms
Hwy. toward 29 Palms/Yucca Valley. Turn left at CA-247 North/Old Woman Springs
Road to Camp Rock Road. Turn left at Camp Rock Road to Hwy. 18. Continue on
Hwy. 18 toward the mountains. Follow Hwy. 18 around the north end (North Shore
Dr.) to Stanfield Cutoff, turn left and proceed over the bridge. At the
stoplight turn right onto Big Bear Blvd.
